It seems a little hard to believe -- but the first time a woman ran for President of the United States was way back in 1872.  And even more difficult to believe -- at that time -- women couldn't even vote!

As we wind up this year's celebration of Women's History Month -- you might want to read about Victoria Woodhull -- the first woman to run for President, the first woman to own a newspaper and the first woman to speak before the US Congress.  Kathleen Krull tells Ms. Woodhull's amazing story in A Woman for President.
