IndieFlix
IndieFlix Logo IndieFlix gives you thousands of streaming movies from independent filmmakers and more than 2,000 film festivals worldwide, including SXSW, Sundance, Cannes, and Slamdance. All you need to watch is a broadband Internet-connected device. Multiple users can watch the same film on different devices at the same time with no checkouts, returns, or waiting. Many films are also available on Roku and Xbox. These films are not rated by the MPAA, so viewer discretion is advised.

Titles are available in English and Spanish. TrueFlix features electronic versions of Scholastic's award-winning True Books series paired with topical videos, project ideas, age-appropriate web links, and interactive educational games.

Express Collection Get the most popular titles and bestsellers without waiting! Our Express Collections are made up of popular book and media titles that are in current high demand. These items aren't used to fill holds and cannot be renewed, so they're more likely to be available when you want them. See an item you're waiting for on the shelf at an "Express" collection near you? If you're ready for the item, then call up the library where it is located to ask them to set it aside for your same day pick up. Express Collections are currently available at all library locations. Live Homework Help! Wish you had someone to explain that grammar rule or walk you through that math question? Tutors are online, ready to provide elementary, high school, and college level help with math, science, English, and social studies. Hours are 2pm to midnight daily and Spanish-speaking tutors are available. You can also access practice lessons, worksheets, study guides and videos 24/7. Live homework help is powered by tutor.com. Additional study and test prep guides are available from Learning Express.
Online Career Center
Online Career Center Need someone to look over your résumé and provide some pointers? Maybe you need a little coaching to prepare for a job interview? The specialists at the online Career Center are standing by. In addition to offering résumé and interview help, they can also help with GED preparation. Live, online assistance is available every day from 10am to midnight. You can also access online interview tips, résumé templates and links to local job search sites any time.
Jobs and Small Business Center
Jobs and Small Business Center Located at the Central Library, the JSBC is dedicated to helping our patrons as they search for a job or perform business research. The Center maintains the same hours as the Central Library. Our online resources are available 24/7 with your San Antonio Public Library card.
Online Software Tutorials
Online Software Tutorials These interactive tutorials, offered by Learning Express, allow you to learn at your own pace on your own schedule. Courses include Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher) as well as Adobe programs and WordPerfect.

Dial-a-Story A story, a story – read me a story! For young children, there is always time for a story. Our children's librarians have a new story in English and Spanish every week; just call 207-4466. Dial-a-Story is sponsored by the San Antonio Express-News.

Laptops for Checkout
Laptops for Checkout Borrow a laptop and access the Internet with our free WiFi. Adults can borrow laptops for two hours at a time at most branch libraries by presenting a library card and identification. Laptops are equipped with a CD-ROM drive and can print via WiFi. A flash drive is necessary if you wish to save any documents. This service is available at all locations.
Little Read Wagon
Little Read Wagon The Little Read Wagon is our early literacy program, designed to support the development of young children's love of books, reading and learning. We provide learning activities, information and literacy materials to parents, extended family, and caregivers of children ages birth through five years. Services are provided free of charge at our library locations as well as childcare facilities, schools and community-based organizations.

Public Computers No computer available? Use ours! All you need is your library card – and a flash drive if you want to save your files. Computers have internet access and are equipped with Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word.

Special Needs Services and Collections We have a variety of resources for our patrons with special needs, and all of our locations are ADA accessible. If you're unable to visit a branch due to a physical disability, or if you're otherwise homebound, check out our Books by Mail service.
Texana/Genealogy
Texana Genealogy Web Page Located at the Central Library, the Texana/Genealogy Department acquires, preserves and offers access to research materials relating to San Antonio, Bexar County and Texas history, and North American and Hispanic genealogy. Home to historical books, periodicals, maps, newspaper clippings, city directories, census records and military records, these collections are some of the Library's most valuable resources. Texana also offers free classes each month covering genealogical research and a variety of other topics.
WiFi and WiFi Printing
WiFi and WiFi Printing @ the Library Free wireless Internet access is available to the public at every San Antonio Public Library location. So if you have a laptop or other WiFi-enabled device, head on over to your nearest library branch and get connected! You can also print directly from your device using our WiFi printing software.

Wowbrary We're constantly adding to our collection. So if you're a bookworm, movie buff, or avid music listener, find out how Wowbrary can help keep you up to date on the Library's most recent additions. Once a week, Wowbrary crafts a list of the library's newest titles into an easy-to-browse website complete with images and summaries. You can even sign up to receive a weekly email of the top 20 items.
