More about the Program

On Monday, September 12, the San Antonio Public Library and Alamo Workforce Solutions will host a job fair at the Bazan Branch Library Learn at SAPL Center. The job fair will take place from noon - 3 p.m. Attendees to the job fair can receive résumé assistance, participate in on-site interviews, listen to guest speakers, and more. Participants should come prepared with résumés and professional dress. The San Antonio Public Library aims to change lives through viable employment opportunities in an effort to enrich lives and stimulate economic growth in our community.

Learn at SAPL is an adult basic education program partnership with the San Antonio Department of Human Services. The centers are designed for adults who are seeking to learn English, improve job skills, or earn a GED®. Learners can also find help with job training, software tutorials, computer and mobile device training and financial counseling. Caseworkers can also assist with referrals for benefits such as food stamps and Medicaid. Learn at SAPL takes a whole-person approach to adult education and aims to provide the help adults need to tackle the obstacles of pursuing continuing education; whether it be financial assistance, child care, language barriers, etc.

Contact Emily Sauer, Training Officer at Learn at SAPL, at 210.207.9160 for more information on the job fair.
