Legendary bluesman Robert Johnson records eight songs during the first of three recording sessions in San Antonio. The songs include “Sweet Home Chicago”, “I Believe I’ll Dust My Broom” and “Terraplane Blues.”
The San Antonio Symphony announced that tonight's performance will be converted to a memorial concert to honor President Kennedy, who was slain yesterday in Dallas. Dr. Victor Alessandro, musical director, said the entire program was being changed and noted that Isaac Stern, world-famous violinist who is to be soloist, is a personal friend of Mrs. Kennedy's.
