Memorial Branch Library Renovations

The Memorial Branch Library will be undergoing renovations as part of the City of San Antonio's 2017-2022 Bond Program. Renovations will begin March 2, 2021 and continue until Fall 2021. Contact-Free Pickup service for holds and outdoor Wi-Fi access at Memorial Branch Library will continue with adjusted hours. Book drops will remain open for the duration of the project. 

San Antonio Public Library Moving to Phase 3

Starting November 4, 2020, the San Antonio Public Library will move into Phase 3 of its four-phased approach of returning to full service. Contact-free pickup and computer sessions by appointment will be available at all locations.

The San Antonio Public Library will celebrate Latinos and Latinos in public service this year as it honors the diversity and rich cultural heritage of the Alamo City during Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 – October 15.

Mayor’s Book Club continues with Memoir Writing Workshops at San Antonio Public Library

In honor of the Mayor’s book choice, the San Antonio Public Library is offering a number of memoir writing workshops in library branches across the city through December.
