San Antonio Public Library Featuring Titles by 6th Annual San Antonio Book Festival Authors

Print and digital copies have been added to the collection

Headlining the 2018 lineup is Emmy award-winning journalist Jorge Ramos with his latest book, Stranger: The Challenge of a Latino Immigrant in the Trump Era. Ramos has been the anchorman for Univision since 1986 and was hailed as “one of the 25 most influential Hispanics in the United States” by TIME magazine. Other top attractions in the festival lineup include best-selling author Sandra Cisneros with her memoir A House of My Own: Stories from My Life, local authors Naomi Shihab Nye and Bryce Milligan with Literary San Antonio, and former San Antonio Public Library employee Xelena González with her award-winning children’s book All Around Us.
San Antonio Book Festival is a free, day-long event uniting readers and writers in a celebration of ideas, books, libraries, and literary culture. More than 90 national, regional, and local authors will appear at the event at Central Library and the Southwest School of Art on Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit www.festival.saplf.org for a complete author lineup and schedule of events.
