This summer, the community is invited to celebrate the City’s Tricentennial with “Adventures in Library Land,” a sweet, game board-style adventure through books and activities inspired by well-known children’s game, “Candy Land.” Families are invited to visit the library for books to read, games to play, activities to enjoy and friends to meet as they travel from Agua Fresca Falls to Paleta Pond and through Pan Dulce Pass on the road to summer adventures. The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club and the Summer Reading Program encourage families to read for fun during the summer! Children earn a free book for reading or listening to eight books, while teens and adults earn chances to win great prizes for reading a book or attending a Library program.
Registration begins on Friday, June 1st. Visit mysapl.org/SRP or call 210-207-2500 for more information about summer reading, to register, and for a complete calendar of events.
