Uniform 300 Photo Project To Launch At Central Library Opening Reception

MORE: The San Antonio Public Library is excited to host the Uniform 300 photographic project exhibit at multiple library locations. The exhibit opening will take place at the Central Library Gallery on Tuesday, September 18, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Uniform 300, photographer Rahm Carrington and curator/producer Alice Carrington Foultz will appear.
The Uniform 300 photographic project coinciding with San Antonio’s Tricentennial Celebration. Son and mother duo Rahm Carrington, photographer, and Alice Carrington Foultz, curator/producer, collaborated to depict
the diversity of San Antonians following the six pillars of the Tricentennial: Religion, Military, History & Education, Arts & Culture, World Heritage and Community Service. The project features portraits of San Antonio
citizens representing all neighborhoods, passions, jobs and walks of life.
The exhibit will be displayed at four library branch locations to include, Igo, Mission, Forest Hills Libraries from Sept. 19 - Oct. 15; and Central Branch Library with a short run in the Gallery from Sept. 19 - Sept. 24. As
well as an extended run on the 2nd floor Central Library Southwest School of Art Marie Swartz Art Resource Center, Sept. 19-Dec. 31.
