Baby Day

Join us for Baby Day, the only statewide celebration of the first three years of life!  Baby Day is a time for families to come together and celebrate this incredible period of growth and brain development in our tiniest Texans.  This FREE event will provide a day of bonding and delight for little ones under three and their families.  Visit Central Library on Saturday, February 15 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm to experience story times, zones for playful exploration, a dance party, giveaways and more!  See https://babyday.us/event/san-antonio/ for a detailed schedule.

Our Little Read Wagon team is happy to be back out at neighborhood parks offering Play & Learn beginning Wednesday, February 26! This Spring, join us at Copernicus and Woodlawn parks. Get the full schedule from our events calendar. We go out rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather and be sure you're wearing your play clothes!

Library locations across San Antonio offer a variety of programs for you and your baby, toddler, or preschooler. Questions about what to expect or how to participate? Call your library and ask to speak to the Children's Librarian.

Early childhood teachers are invited to "Make Way for Play!" a free, 4-hour workshop. The final workshop of the 2019-2020 school year will be Saturday, May 9 at 9:00 am. Please register at makewayforplay.eventbrite.com.
