A footbridge is constructed over the river on Commerce Street for the cost of $300.  It was washed away by a flood during a hailstorm two years later.

1908
The Boerne Star newspaper, founded just two years ago, is sold by L.W. Cooke to W. Gammon Davis of Groesbeck, Texas.  Davis is an experienced newspaper man.

Norah Jones performs in San Antonio for the first time – at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.
