IMAGINE with San Antonio Public Library this summer!

San Antonio Public Library invites all ages to participate in the 2020 Mayor’s Summer Reading Club

SAN ANTONIO (June 24, 2020) – Summer is heating up and your San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) is here to keep things cool by encouraging everyone to dive into the 2020 Mayor’s Summer Reading Club and Summer Reading Program.

The theme of this year's  Summer Reading Program is IMAGINE! While traditional in-house programming may not be possible, Library staff have developed ways to engage patrons through various online programs from June 1 - August 31. As in years past, SAPL asks participants to read, learn, explore, or interact with the Library eight or more times this summer. Children earn a free book for reading or listening to eight books, while teens and adults earn chances to win great prizes for reading a book or attending an online Library program.

Registration began on June 1, but is ongoing throughout the length of the program. Join us this summer as we imagine endless possibilities! Visit mysapl.org/SRP or call 210-207-2500 for more information about summer reading, to register, and for a complete calendar of online events.
