SAN ANTONIO (November 13, 2020) – San Antonio Public Library’s (SAPL) San Pedro Branch is celebrating 90 years of service to the community with an online celebration on Saturday, November 14 beginning at 10 a.m. Guests are invited to visit guides.mysapl.org/SanPedro90th to access celebratory virtual programs, a historical video, and interactive activities.
In addition to the online celebration, San Pedro Branch Library will be distributing special “goodie” bag treats during Contact-Free Pickup on November 14 until 5 p.m., while supplies last.
San Pedro Branch is San Antonio Public Library’s oldest branch location and is located adjacent to San Pedro Springs Park, the nation’s second-oldest public park. San Antonio Public Library is eager to commemorate this remarkable history of San Pedro Branch Library’s presence in the San Antonio Community with this special online celebration.
