San Antonio Public Library Reopening

Effective June 16, 2020, SAPL will begin offering Contact-Free Pickup of reserved materials at 29 library locations. Additionally, at 9 of the 29 library locations, SAPL will be offering appointment-based access to public computers to serve those communities with the greatest need for this type of service. 

All San Antonio Public Library locations are closed to limit the spread of COVID-19

Late Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez among others will be honored at events and programs featured September 15 – October 15 across the Library system

The San Antonio Public Library will celebrate Latinos and Latinos in public service this year as it honors the diversity and rich cultural heritage of the Alamo City during Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 – October 15.

Every Vote Counts at the San Antonio Public Library

Beginning today, San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) will celebrate “Every Vote Counts,” a special come & go crafts program that celebrates Black History Month.
