Renowned Artist Jesse Treviño To Visit the Central Library to Discuss His Life and Work

A book discussion and meet-and-greet with renowned artist Jesse Treviño and internationally known journalist Anthony Head as they introduce the book, “Spirit: The Life and Art of Jesse Treviño.” The discussion will be moderated by Robert Rivard, editor and publisher of the Rivard Report.

There will be a book signing following the program. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.

Semmes Branch Library to Close for Four Weeks for Renovations

Book drop will remain open and digital materials will be available at mysapl.org

- The San Antonio Public Library will temporarily close Semmes Branch Library located 15060 Judson Rd from Wednesday, May 1 through Sunday, May 27 for improvements. During the closure, the book drop will remain open, and holds will be available for pickup Tuesday-Saturday, 10am – 5pm.

Great Northwest Branch Library to Close for Three Weeks for Renovations

The San Antonio Public Library will temporarily close Great Northwest Branch Library located at 9050 Wellwood from Monday, April 15 through Friday, May 5 for improvements.

The San Antonio Public Library’s celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Pan American Branch Library with a speaking program and afternoon of activities.

All are invited to celebrate the value and importance of library service to the community with the observance of Pan American Branch Library’s 50th Anniversary.
