Strike a Pose at the San Antonio Public Library for International Day of Yoga on June 21st

Strengthen your mind and body with classes, books, DVDs and more celebrating yoga at Library locations across the city

San Antonio Public Library will celebrate the 4th annual International Day of Yoga on Thursday, June 21 at 20 library locations across San Antonio with free classes and programs for all ages. In addition, San Antonio Public Library cardholders are invited to check out magazines, books, eBooks, eAudiobooks, fitness DVDs, and other materials all about the ancient practice of yoga. Pan American Branch Library to Temporarily Close for Renovations

- Library improvements funded in the 2018 City Budget

San Antonio Public Library will temporarily close Pan American Branch Library at 1122 W. Pyron Ave., 78221 in District 3 from Monday, June 18 through Wednesday, July 4 for improvements funded in the 2018 City Budget.  During the closure the book drop will remain open, and holds will be available for pickup Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

San Antonio Public Library Offering Free Snacks and Lunch for Children and Teens During the Summer

Summer Lunch Program is partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank and the North East Independent School District

San Antonio Public Library, in partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank and North East Independent School District, will offer healthy snacks and lunches to children 18 years of age and younger at seven library locations throughout the city. Days and times vary by location. All locations are closed on Wednesday, July 4.

Direct access to online content is now available at any San Antonio Public Library location or from anywhere at mysapl.org

San Antonio Public Library is now offering access to online content from the New York Times for free from any San Antonio Public Library computer or from home though the library’s website at www.mysapl.org. This service adds to the Library’s more than 100 databases.
